How To Use Universal Shoulder Sling

To put it on:

  • Wrap the Waist Strap and Abduction Pillow tightly around your waist and secure them with Velcro. Make sure the pillow is on your side, and the extra back support is against your back.
  • Slide your arm into the Arm Sling and fasten the Velcro at the top. Connect the arm sling to the abduction pillow with Velcro as well.
  • The Shoulder Strap should go from the wrist part of the arm sling, across the shoulder that's not hurt, and through the buckles on the elbow part of the arm sling.

To remove it:

  • Unclasp the buckle on the waist strap and the one on your shoulder.
  • Open the Velcro at the top of the arm sling.
  • Use your uninjured arm to take off the arm sling to keep your hurt shoulder still.
  • The shoulder sling parts should all stay connected.
