Skil-Care Foam Air Cushion is a pressure relief and redistribution cushion that provides the softness of air on the top and the stability of a foam bottom. The air-quilt surface inflates or deflates to meet residents pressure reduction and comfort requirements. Pre-inflated high-density foam base provides stability and prevents "bottoming-out". It features incontinent-proof vinyl inner cover wipes clean for easy care and low-Shear II wipe-clean outer cover reduces skin damaging friction. Comes with safety straps.

  • Easy to Use:
    To inflate:
    - Lift air valve stem
    - Place rubber tube over air valve and inflate to desired level by drawing air pump cylinder back and then pushing it forward
    - Close air valve by pressing down on valve stem
    To deflate:
    - Lift air valve stem
    - Press cushion surface to force air out
    - Close air valve by pressing down on valve stem
    Important: The cloth outer cover has a strap that must be secured to the wheelchair to prevent the cushion from slipping off the chair. Always place the cushion on the wheelchair with the valve at the back of the seat
  • Easy Care:
    - The outer Low-Shear II cover and vinyl inner cover may be cleaned with a spray-and-wipe cleanser
    - If disinfecting, avoid using chlorine (bleach) chemicals
    - Do not launder the cloth outer cover
