How to Use Elite Kettle Popcorn Maker

• Make sure the popcorn maker is not plugged in before you start.
• Check that your home's power (120V ~60Hz) matches the popcorn maker's requirements.
• The popcorn machine has two switches:
• LIGHT: Turns on the inside light.
• POP: Turn on the stirring stick motor and heater.
• Hang the popcorn kettle on the hooks inside the machine.
• Connect the kettle's plug to the socket inside the machine.
• Plug the machine into an electrical outlet.
• Before adding oil or kernels, lift the lid using the tab. Use 1 tablespoon of vegetable, corn, peanut, or coconut oil—never use butter or margarine.
• Turn on both the LIGHT and POP switches. Let the kettle heat the oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Switch POP off, add 1/3 cup of corn kernels, close the lid, and turn POP back on.
• Popcorn will start popping in about 2 minutes.
• When popping stops, turn POP off, and lower the kettle handle to release any remaining popcorn and stop burning.
• Turn off POP when not in use. Let the kettle cool for 5-10 minutes between batches.
• WARMING LIGHT: If keeping popcorn inside, turn on the LIGHT switch to keep it warm.
• Unplug when not in use.
• Repeat steps 8 to 10 for more popcorn.

How to Clean

• Clean the popcorn kettle after EVERY use.
• NEVER put the kettle in water or any liquids.
• Don't use benzene, scrub brushes, or chemicals—they'll harm the kettle.
• After using, let the popcorn machine cool, then clean the inside windows with a warm damp cloth.
• Wash and dry the popcorn tray, measuring cup, and spoon after each use (don't use the dishwasher).
• The plexi door comes off easily—lift it off the hinges to hand wash in warm, soapy water. Don't use harsh cleaners or steel wool.
• Don't clean the plastic tray with rough cleansers or steel wool.
• You can replace the light bulb with a 10W AC120V bulb.
