Aircast AirSelect Short Walking Boot has a durable, semi-rigid shell that helps support the limb while providing protection. The pre-inflated front panel and two adjustable distal aircells, housed within the shell, provide compression and support. This boot offers solution to metatarsal fracture, stress and stable fracture of the foot, bunionectomy, hallux valgus, soft tissue injury and severe ankle sprain.

How to wear AirSelect Short Walking Boot

While seated, place foot in brace. Position heel in back of brace. Wrap liner around foot and then ankle

Position the front panel with the Aircast logo over the toes and secure the upper part outside the brace.

Secure straps from bottom to top (Fig. C). Tighten until snug and comfortable.

To inflate the aircell, cover the small hole on the large pump found on either side of brace and pump until snug.

To deflate aircells, press and hold finger on small release button (Fig. E).

Warnings and Precautions:

Do not over-inflate air cells.
Improper aircell inflation may cause significant skin irritation.
Check your skin frequently for spots and skin irritation.
If you see any skin changes or feelings of discomfort, reduce the aircell compression.
Use caution when walking on slippery or wet surfaces to avoid injury.
Do not use this device if you cannot feel sensations, whether due to post-op anesthesia, nerve, skin or other conditions.

Cleaning Instructions:

The foam liner may be hand-washed in 86°F/30°C water with mild detergent and air-dried.
Do not put it in the dryer or use other heat sources to dry it.
