Cleaning Instructions

• The orthosis is corrosion-protected and washable. The terry cloth covers for the shoulder harness and the hook-and-loop closure may be removed and washed. Use the supplied replacement covers and hook-and-loop closure during cleaning.
• Press on the sides of the closure with your thumbs, unhook the hook-and-loop closure from the plastic loops and remove the hook-and-loop closure.
• Pull the terry cloth covers off the shoulder harness
• Wash the terry cloth cover and the fastened hook-and-loop closure in warm water at 40°C/104°F using standard mild detergent. Recommendation: wash in a mesh laundry bag. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
• Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g. from the sun, an oven or radiator).
• Slide the terry cloth covers onto the straps of the shoulder harness and engage the hookand-loop closure in the plastic loops. Ensure that the hook-and-loop closure engages properly.
